Every Total Care payment banks 50% of the net fee as credit in your account — $174.50 a year per system on the annual plan, or $16 each month. When something breaks, it’s applied automatically on top of your 20% member discount.

How credit works
No surprises: these are the same rules our billing system enforces, and they’re part of the membership terms.

Covers up to 25% of any repair
Credit is applied automatically to each repair, up to 25% of the job after your member discount. Anything left over stays in your account for next time. For example, to use a $174.50 balance in one visit, the repair would need to be $698 or more after discount.

Each month’s credit lasts 24 months
Credit expires on a rolling basis: what you earn in January 2027 is good through January 2029. We always spend your oldest credit first, and your account shows exactly what’s expiring and when.

Keep your membership, keep your credit
Credit is a member benefit. If you cancel your membership, any unused credit is forfeited at the time you cancel. Downgrading to Essential stops new credit but keeps what you have.

Selling your home? The credit goes with it
Credit belongs to the membership at your address. When you sell, the new owners can continue the membership and inherit your full balance and expiry dates — a nice line for your listing.

For repairs — parts and labor
Credit can be used on repair parts and labor. It can’t be used to pay membership fees, can’t be applied to a new system installation, and can’t be combined with other promotions or coupons on the same job.

Earned on what you actually pay
You earn 50% of your net membership fee — the amount after any signup promotion, not counting sales tax.

Earned while your account is current
Credit accrues on on-time payments. If a payment fails and the account goes past due, no credit is earned for that period — even once it’s caught up. Keep your card up to date and you’ll never notice this rule.
